This is the official “Over-The-Line” 12″ rubber softball by deBeer. The cover to this 12″ softball is Orange in color and made of rubber. The core of the softball weighs in at 7oz. and is made from Kapok. The core of any softball can be made from a variety of materials depending on its price and quality, but only high-quality balls use a kapok core. Kapok cores are made from fibers of the kapok tree that is grown in the tropical climates of Central America and Western Africa.
